We Provide:
skipass for engelberg ski resort (6 days = SUN to FRI)in dormitories for 4 to 8 peoplebreakfastpackageincluding a glas of winecoffee and some non alcoholic beverageequipment for beginners (no clothes or protective wear)training for beginners by our volunteering instructorsand pillow case, woolen blankets(better: look for a sleeping bag if possible)
We do not provide:
Outdoor and protection wear (jacket, pants, gloves, googles, helmet, sunglasses)underwear for snowsport, towel

Price 2010 was CHF 625 (price 2011 to be determined)
Substantial subsidies from some universities are granted.(depending on your status scolarship)

Dear participants and volunteers,
I hope you enjoyed the camp 2010. We were very lucky and did not have any accident and weather as well as snow conditions were excellent. New friendships were established accross the globe.

In 2010 we could host 79 people including volunteers and guests. This number is very low considering that we would have room for about 130 people over a period of two weeks.
For 2010, we will negotiate with the owner of the chalet if we can move the camp back into the time of vacation at universities.In particular new young volunteers are required to make the camp sustainable. We aim for a good mix of instructors.
Each week, we could offer 4 to 5 traditional and typical dishes form the participants or volunteers countries.This is a daily highlight for all people in the camp.A major concern are the number of of cancellations. About 25 people received a confirmation but decided finally not to join the camp.This did not allow to invite all people who applied for week 1 because we could not fully clear the waiting list due to short notice of the cancellations.

I kindly ask volunteers to apply as soon as possible. This facilitates the confirmation of participants considerably because I cannot confirm unless sufficient volunteers have committed to join the camp.Promote the camp among your friends to have a strong team of volunteers in 2011.
