3. 24 hours at the camp ... ?
A skiinstructor's day always starts usually between main course and desert.

20.00 - 21.00 Daily meeting to determine the groups of the next day.
One instructor leads the meeting. You jointly determine the group of the next day and allocate the instructors.
The groups are published on the blackboard. Think about a comprehensive name (snowmen, kamikaze, titlis devils ..........?)

21:00 - 21.30: Enjoy desert and meet your new friends joining you the next day. Animate people to join the camp disco.

07.30 - 08.00: Breakfast prepared by our famous kitchen team. Support us in closing the breakfast at 08.00 because participants should be ready in 45 minutes.

08.00 - 08.30: The participants are preparing their sandwiches. The skiinstructor shall provide a box with the name of the group. All sandwiches are packed in a backpack (a number of backpacks are available). The backpack is carried to the skiresort. Make sure that your bag is safely stored. The restaurants or better the operators of the resort allow to store the bag the bag at a safe place.

08.30 - 08.45: All participants should be ready to catch the bus to the resort.
The bus stops at walking distance (about 200m) Make sure that you identify all your groupmembers. Check if people are ready and skiing equipment is ok.
Drive your group at the base terminal and make sure that all group members are aware where to go. Define a meeting point in case they get lost.

09.00 - midday: You escort your people to dedicated slopes.
"Dance the warm and feel the heat" prior to startup. Perform a safety check on all equipment. Only perform the training on the scopes dedicated to your group. If you leave the place call 0 878 800 935 for coordination. Do not overtax the capabilites of your group. Avoid the stress of the weakest individual of your group.

Midday break: Make sure that you have your backpack available at midday. Look for the dedicated areas where you are allowed to have you lunch. Dedicated areas for lunch are ("Panorama room" at the top floor at Titlis.

midday - 17.00 Make sure that reach the busterminal to catch the last bus. Inform people about the bus schedule.
Do not exaggerate or overtax the physical capability of your people. Respect the team stress of the weakest in your group. Take the gondola downwards rather than skiing from the resort to the vallee. The slopes down to the vallee have now sunlight in the afternoon and get easily icy. Or very sticky if temperatures are high.

Take the bus at the base terminal and go off at Wetti. When arriving at the chalet make sure that skis are stored at the dedicated place. No skis or snowboard leaning to the walls to the house and no skiboots brought into the sleeping rooms.

4. Special tasks for skiinstructors .....?
There are a few tasks to be performed on a daily basis:

  • One skiinstructor takes care on the skiing equipment. He should be available to the participants if they require support (changing boots and skis).
  • One skiinstructor takes care on beverages. He refills the boxes in the living room. Refill of PET bottles to be taking to the resort. He makes sure that we never run out of beverages.
  • One skiinstructor is leading of the daily meeting of skiinstructors.
  • All skiinstructors take responsibility of the cleaning of the house on wednesday and friday. This is a joint effort of all people joining the camp. An one hour effort where all participants are helping in keeping the house nice and clean.
